SmartNucleus AI is a product of AI Valley (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in India. We provide AI-powered search and recommendation services for e-commerce stores, primarily on Shopify. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at hello@aivalley.co.in.

This website is informational. We do not require accounts, do not run third-party advertising trackers, and do not use marketing cookies.

If you contact us by email (including via the “Request access” or “Book a demo” links, which open your own email client), we receive the information you choose to send: your name, email address, company, store URL, and the contents of your message. We use it solely to respond to you and to provide the services you asked about.

When a merchant connects their store to SmartNucleus AI, we process their product catalog — titles, descriptions, tags, prices, and product images — in order to build the search and recommendation index for that store.

We also process shopper interaction events on the merchant's storefront (searches performed, products viewed, items added to cart) to rank results and personalize recommendations. These events are processed on behalf of the merchant, who remains the controller of their store's data.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use one merchant's data to serve another merchant's store.

• To provide, operate, and improve our search and recommendation services.
• To respond to inquiries and provide onboarding and support.
• To measure service quality (e.g. zero-result rates, relevance metrics) for the merchant.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We keep merchant catalog and interaction data for as long as the merchant uses the service. When a merchant disconnects their store or asks us to delete their data, we delete the associated catalog index and interaction history within 30 days. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and our legitimate record-keeping.

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA and applicable Indian data protection law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@aivalley.co.in. If you are a shopper on a store that uses SmartNucleus AI, the store (merchant) is your primary point of contact, and we will assist them in fulfilling your request.

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the data we process: encrypted connections (TLS) for data in transit, access controls limiting who can reach production systems, and isolation between merchants' data.

We rely on reputable cloud infrastructure providers to host our services. These providers process data on our instructions and do not use it for their own purposes. This website is hosted on Vercel.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes affecting merchants we will notify them directly.
